Bom tấn vừa ra mắt cuối tuần qua – “Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows Part 2” (Harry Potter và bảo bối tử thần phần 2) đã có một cú nổ hoành tráng khi lập nên kỷ lục trở thành bộ phim đoạt doanh thu cao nhất từ trước tới nay trong dịp công chiếu. Phần cuối cùng nằm trong series phim Harry Potter đã thu về 168,55 triệu đô la, thậm chí còn vượt qua cả thành tích mà “The Dark Knight” đã từng đạt được trước đó là 158,4 triệu.

Ngay từ những ngày đầu tiên, Harry Potter và bảo bối tử thần phần 2 đã dễ dàng vượt qua con số 125 triệu đô mà phần 1 từng mang về vào tháng 11 năm ngoái, chưa kể thành tích này còn bỏ xa những đối thủ bom tấn nặng ký khác như “Spider Man 3″ (151,1 triệu), “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” (142,8 triệu), “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead man’s chest” (135,6 triệu đô).

Harry Potter và bảo bối tử thần phần 2 “Deathly Hallows” đã đánh dấu bước đột phá mới của series phim Harry Potter khi lần đầu tiên được công chiếu dưới dạng 3D, tuy nhiên, theo thống kê từ các phòng vé, hầu hết khán giả tới rạp đều chọn xem phim dưới định dạng chuẩn 2D. Hãng sản xuất Warner Bros tiết lộ, có tới 54% lượng người đến xem “Deathly Hallows Part 2” là nữ, trong đó gần một nửa đều dưới độ tuổi 25.

Tính tới thời điểm này, toàn bộ series của Harry Potter đã thu về khoản tiền khổng lồ 6,4 tỷ đô la và hàng tỉ đô la từ tiền bán DVD.

Từ khi Harry Potter và bảo bối tử thần phần 2 “Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows Part 2” ra mắt và gần như “độc chiếm” hầu hết lượng vé bán ra trong tuần này, những bộ phim khác đều rơi vào tình trạng ế ẩm và chịu chung cảnh ngộ. “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” đã bị giảm tới 55% lượng khán giả đến rạp và chỉ thu về vỏn vẹn 21,25 triệu đô la. Mặc dù vậy, đây vẫn được xem là tác phẩm điện ảnh đầu tiên của năm 2011 cán mốc hơn 300 triệu đô la chỉ sau 3 tuần công chiếu.

SYNOPSIS:
During the reign of King Sejong (Ahn Seong Gi), Joseon Dynasty was the embodiment of the perfect state. The Skinny:  Sometimes amusing, sometimes telling, and sometimes embarrassing. This “guy issues” comedy from promising director Barbara Wong is too uneven and too scattershot to be truly successful, though it does have its share of minor positives. Not a bad movie, but not really a good one either.
